How Does it Work?

  1. Register for the cookie decorating session prior to December 19th .
    A Zoom link will be emailed to you on December 19th once you have registered.
  2.  Pick up your kit on December 20th between 12-2pm at L+A Healing Studio.
  3.  Join the Zoom Decorating party on December 22nd at 5 pm.

ABOUT ERMA CUENCA-PRICE

Erma Cuenca-Price was born in the Philippines and moved to the United States in 2001. She began her career in bakeries, restaurants and hotels in Boston before moving to Chicago. Before going on her own with Tropicakes, she was the Head Pastry Chef at ZED451 restaurant. She won the People’s Choice Award in 2014 at the World of Chocolate event supporting the AIDS Foundation of Chicago.

Previously, she has worked as a pastry chef/cook for Restaurant Sixteen at the Trump Tower, Girl and the Goat, The Ritz Carlton Boston (now Taj Boston), Harvard University Business School and La Morra Restaurant.

Chef Erma also has expertise in preparing dishes for specialty diets such as diabetic, vegan and gluten free.

She currently lives in Chicago with her husband, Aaron and daughter, who is a 4th grader at SLES.

This event, the cookies & kit has been donated by SLES parents. 100% of the proceeds from this sale will go directly to Friends & Family of South Loop School, Inc., a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization benefiting South Loop Elementary School.

Includes a box with 4 cookies baked by Erma along with ready to use icing and sprinkles.  There are two options for cookie boxes:
